So I returned to Rouen to see Camille and her fireworks…..and what I experienced was 22 crazy, amazing, never been seen before minutes! There she was, a dragon sending her sparks into the sky and the river, sending her seed into the world…..ending and beginning again and again with the synergy of her structure, the fire and the music magical and mysterious. The shelter of Camille drawing crowds under her…. creating that place where they can connect, enjoy, play and experience peace! I will miss seeing you Camille but I will keep you in my heart.

Rouen Impressionnée. Arne Quinze. The BOOK!

This is a scrapbook of the construction of Camille, with day-to-day activities starting from the first meeting with the civil services of Rouen to the opening of Camille.
It shows Arne Quinze reflecting on the first ideas, doing his research, pulling creativity from impressionism which pushed him further to even create new paintings, Les Jardins.
It’s an intimate look into the creation of the sculpture, pasting-up sketches, notes, drawings, images and stories of all people involved.

It’s the legacy of Camille.
